Today marks the 151st birthday of our 26th president, Theodore Roosevelt. President Roosevelt served from 1901 to 1909 and was known as "TR" and “Teddy.” President Roosevelt became president at the age of 42, when President McKinley was assassinated. This made him the youngest president to assume office (the youngest elected to office was President Kennedy). President Roosevelt was a great conservationist, establishing many national parks.
