Memorial Day: Flag Etiquette

Since we posted about Memorial Day last year (here), we thought it would be nice to expand that topic this year. A lot of regular citizens aren't sure about the proper way to handle or display the U.S. flag. So we thought we'd help y'all out. Here are some resources on our flag.

Memorial Day

Originally known as Decoration Day, the first Memorial Day was held on May 30, 1868 in Arlington National Cemetary--just three years after the end of the Civil War.

So take time today to remember those who have fallen so that this country may rise.
